Mental Health, Trauma, and Addiction impact an individual on multiple levels, including the mind, body, spirit, and relationships. Experiential Therapy, Sociometry, and Psychodrama approach healing from a bio-psycho-social-spiritual lens. This workshop will explore the connections between mind, body, and spirit while highlighting the impact of trauma and addiction on each aspect. The interplay between mind-body-spirit of the professional and mind-body-spirit of the client will be considered as it relates to the therapeutic relationship. This workshop will use both sociometry and psychodrama as teaching processes.

Learning Objectives:

Explain the interconnectedness of mind, body, and spirit

Describe why experiential therapy is a holistic approach

Identify one way that the professional’s state of mind/body/spirit impacts a client
