Online Zoom Workshop

By Dr. Scott Giacomucci, DSW, LCSW, BCD, FAAETS, PAT

This workshop will teach of the philosophical foundation from which psychodrama emerged including core concepts of the Autonomous Healing Center and Jacob Moreno’s evolution of the concept of God. These ideas will be offered with historical context and framing within Moreno’s vision of Sociatry and his development of group psychotherapy, sociometry, and psychodrama. Drawing from this author’s forthcoming book, “Social Work, Sociometry, and Psychodrama”, the social work core value of respecting the dignity/worth of each human being will be emphasized as it relates to Morenean philosophy. Morenean philosophy will be presented as an existential, humanistic, and strength-based mystical tradition.
