This presentation explores how somatic therapy can support activists in processing social unrest\, sustaining engagement\, and reconnecting with their values while preventing burnout and compassion fatigue. \n \nLearning Objectives\n\n\nIdentify the mental\, emotional\, and somatic impacts of sustained activism and social justice work\nUnderstand how systemic oppression and social unrest show up in the body and nervous system\nApply basic somatic interventions to support regulation and expand capacity\n\n\n\nWorkshop Policies and CE Education Hours\nContinuing Education Hours and Training Credits\nPlease note that participants must attend the entire training event to receive CE/training credits.
