These principles will be presented as both clinical guides and ethical imperatives. Participants will be challenged to explore their own relationships to trauma-informed principles and areas for growth in their practice and their workplace. Trauma-informed care considerations will be applied specifically to the practice of group therapy and psychodrama with an emphasis on resisting retraumatization. Multiple sociometric and psychodramatic interventions will be taught as trauma-informed experiential methods. The importance of attending to safety\, trust\, peer support\, collaboration\, empowerment\, and identity will be explored in further detail as they relate to trauma-informed care and the practice of sociometry\, psychodrama\, and group psychotherapy. \nLearning Objectives: \n\nIdentify the six trauma-informed principles outlined by SAMHSA.\nDescribe two considerations for trauma-informed sociometry in action\nDescribe two strategies for preventing retraumatization in psychodrama directing\n\nBy purchasing tickets and registering for this event\, you confirm that you agree with the Phoenix Center’s Informed Consent for Experiential Training Workshops and our workshop\, cancellation\, and refund policies. \n\nTo Register for this Workshop\nPlease follow the below steps.  Registration is not confirmed until payment is received.\nStep 1: Pay for the event by using our Paypal Payment System (you can enter a credit card as a payment option). \n01234567891011121314151617181920Professional Registration for 5/15/26-5/17/26: Trauma-Informed Principles in Group Therapy and Psychodrama675.00 USD012345678910111213141516171819202122Student Registration for 5/15/26-5/17/26: Trauma-Informed Principles in Group Therapy and Psychodrama465.00 USD012345678910Friday Only Option for 5/15/26-5/17/26: Trauma-Informed Principles in Group Therapy and Psychodrama250.00 USDYour eTicket will be emailed after payment to your PayPal email address.\nStep 2: Fill out the registration form using the same email you used for Paypal. \n \nStep 3: You will hear from us with a confirmation email (the same one you used for PayPal and registration) indicating your registration and information about the event in a few days.
