DESCRIPTION:Saturday July 27th 9am – 1pm | Bryn Mawr\, PA | 4 CEUs for PA professional counselors\, social workers\, marriage and family therapists and psychologists \nRole Theory: Redefining the Self in Action \nPresented by Scott Giacomucci | $65 ($40 for students) \nCenter for Families – 1225 Montrose Ave\, Bryn Mawr\, PA 19010 \nThis workshop will present psychodrama’s theory of personality – role theory. Role theory will be presented in action through personal assessments\, group sociometry\, and psychodrama. Participants will learn to conceptualize and intervene in clinical cases through role theory with its simplified\, non-pathologizing approach that integrates the biopsychosocial experience. Role development and role types will also be presented as outlined in Jacob Moreno’s psychodrama philosophy. Participants will also have the opportunity to explore their own role diagram and develop/enhance a vision for their self in the future. \nPhoenix Center for Experiential Trauma Therapy\, LLC (Lic. #004115) has been approved as a pre-approved provider of professional continuing education for social workers (Section 47.36)\, Marriage and Family Therapist (Section 48.36) and Professional Counselors (Section 49.36) by the PA State Board of Social Workers\, Marriage & Family Therapists and Professional Counselors.
