Information will be provided on cases that EMDR is likely to work very well and other situations where EMDR is less likely to be effective. The conditions for effective and safe trauma processing will be outlined with an emphasis on preventing retraumatization. The differences between EMDR resourcing and EMDR processing will be described, as well as differences in EMDR’s approach to single incident trauma and complex trauma.
