Our team is trained in a variety of Experiential Therapies, including EMDR, Internal Family Systems (IFS), Psychodrama, Expressive Arts Therapy, Somatic Therapy, and several more. Many of our clients come to us having done years of cognitive or behavioral therapy but are still struggling with healing from trauma.

Many experiential modalities focus on deep healing with an emphasis on action, rather than verbal communication. By integrating both our body and mind, we have access to deeper psychological elements. Many experiential therapies can open neuropathways that can alter how our body stores and responds to disturbing or stressful thoughts, images, memories, or dreams. Integrating these modalities with a trauma therapist can often disrupt our life-long fight, flight or freeze responses, allowing us to better regulate our nervous system.
Our therapists will often integrate multiple modalities, creating an individualized treatment plan for each client. Because we are an out of network provider, our therapists have the flexibility to create unique treatment plans and offer clients freedom of choice in each session. Each therapist on our team specializes in at least one Experiential modality but is usually trained in several modalities. Here you can find out more about each modality, along with our available therapists.
We also have nearly 500 YouTube videos on EMDR, Psychodrama, Group Therapy and Trauma. Check out our YouTube Channel for more information on EMDR, Trauma Therapy, Psychodrama and more.
