Crystal (She/Her) is a student working toward her Master’s in Social Services at the Graduate School of Social Work and Social Research at Bryn Mawr College. Crystal is passionate about creating meaningful change by working collaboratively with clients to reach their goals. Drawing from personal and professional life experiences, Crystal brings a deep understanding and interest to questions of identity, relationships, recovery and growth.


Crystal’s professional interests include trauma recovery, LGBTQ+ community, identity & social systems, religious trauma, deconstruction, and healing, as well as family systems & relational dynamics. Crystal brings a warm, relational, and empathetic approach to the therapeutic relationship. Using evidence-based and trauma-informed practices, she takes a person-centered approach and believes that we are all the experts in our own life experiences. She draws from a variety of therapeutic modalities and theories, including attachment theory, EMDR, and parts work.

Professional Experience

Crystal graduated with a B.S. in Mathematics from Pacific University in Oregon. Following her graduation, she worked as a 911 Dispatcher for several years. Through her work at 911, Crystal gained invaluable experience in working with individuals experiencing traumatic events, providing calm and empathetic support during times of crisis. This past year, Crystal completed a year-long internship at a community mental health center, where she gained hands-on experience facilitating group therapy sessions focused on peer support and psychoeducation.
