About This Group

This group offers a welcoming, affirming space for queer adults (18+) seeking healing, growth, and deeper connection. Through authentic dialogue, experiential exploration, and creative expression, we’ll honor both pain and possibility—the parts of us still mending and the parts that are already flourishing. Together, we’ll build a supportive container for courage and vulnerability, drawing on collective wisdom across generations and diverse lived experiences.

Grounded in trauma-informed and intersectional principles, this group recognizes that each person carries insight shaped by their unique identities and life stories. You don’t have to hold everything alone. Here, your voice matters, your story is valued, and your healing is witnessed with care.

This group is led by: Sarah Jayne Oltz, Bennett Kuhn, and Analiese Eisenhauer.

Commitment: Upon joining the group, you are committing to attending and paying for 10 weeks/group sessions. After 10 weeks, you have the option to continue. If you would like to leave the group at any time after 10 weeks, we ask that you provide 3 weeks’ notice of your departure so that proper group closure can be facilitated. New members are added on a rolling, case-by-case basis, only if a spot becomes available due to someone leaving.

The Phoenix Center’s Commitment to LGBTQIA+ Clients

The Phoenix Center for Experiential Trauma Therapy provides affirming, trauma-informed care for our LGBTQIA+ clients. Our team includes many clinicians and staff members who identify as LGBTQIA+. As a practice, we regularly discuss ways to enhance inclusivity and safety during our weekly team meetings, participate in ongoing trauma-informed care trainings, and offer training sessions to other professionals on LGBTQIA+ trauma and gender-affirming care. Additionally, we can connect clients with external LGBTQIA+ resources, if they need additional support.
