With this background, it has helped shape Nina’s scope of practice, which involves integrating cultural competency, acceptance, and safety into her sessions.

Professional Experience

Prior to Nina’s clinical experience, she volunteered at a retirement community, where she worked with residents and helped facilitate mental health-related group events. In addition, Nina has worked as a tour guide on her college campus, leading prospective students through the best paths for their future. Through these experiences, she is committed to continuing her growth as a student clinician and looks forward to working in the therapeutic space for her clients.

In therapy, Nina is committed to creating a supportive and accepting environment for clients, ensuring they feel heard and understood. She is open to working with individuals from diverse backgrounds with a wide range of concerns. Nina is actively training in multiple therapeutic approaches, with a preference for a person-centered approach in therapy. She integrates various modalities to offer individualized treatment options.

Outside of her professional work and education, Nina finds solace in yoga, meditation, and strength training. In addition, she enjoys traveling, painting, and calligraphy writing. Nina strives to maintain a consistent self-care routine and hopes to help others discover their best form of self-care and peace in their lives.
