About This Webinar
This webinar will focus on Medication Assisted Treatment for Substance Use Disorder. More than ever, clinical competence in treating Substance Use Disorder is an important skill for any clinician, from inpatient treatment settings to outpatient psychotherapy. MAT is one of the gold standards for treatment, and is often misunderstood by clients and healthcare professionals alike. This training will prepare you to effectively support clients who are exploring SUD treatment options using a trauma-informed lens.

- Define Alcohol and Opiate use Disorder
- Define Medication Assisted Treatment and the Mechanism of Action for each MAT
- Explore stigma and personal bias around MAT and SUD treatment
