Frequently Asked Questions

I’m not a client, can I attend?

Yes! Our support group welcomes clients and community members.

I don’t like in Pennsylvania, can I attend?

Yes. There are no state limitations for support groups.

Do I need to register?

Yes, we ask for a one-time registration to ensure this group is appropriate for you. Once you are registered, you will have the link to join any week you would like.

Does someone facilitate the group?

Yes, one of our clinical interns leads the group.

How many people are in the group?

We usually have anywhere from five-twelve members log on each session, though some sessions may be higher or lower, and it just depends on the week.

Is this group an appropriate place for me to process trauma?

This group focuses on growth after trauma. While some sharing does occur, a support group is largely supported by other peers, and we would recommend either individual therapy or a therapy group for deeper trauma work.
