Sarah Jayne Oltz, MS, NCC, CTP (she/they) received her M.S. in Community & Trauma Counseling from Thomas Jefferson University and holds a Bachelor of Music degree from the University of the Arts. As a Certified Trauma Professional, Sarah Jayne has expertise in helping clients navigate the complexities of trauma, and takes pride in creating a safe, non-judgmental space where clients can explore and process their lived experiences.

Sarah Jayne’s approach is firmly rooted in the belief that individuals have the innate ability to find solutions to their problems and should be empowered to direct their therapeutic journey in collaboration with the therapist. Sarah Jayne’s perspective is holistic and humanistic, integrating talk therapy, somatic practices, expressive arts techniques, identity and values exploration, and mindfulness practices. She combines her knowledge of trauma treatment and the arts to create an environment that encourages self-expression. Utilizing EMDR, Psychodrama, and IFS, she takes an experiential approach, allowing clients to connect with their inner wisdom and find relief from trauma stored both in their body and mind.

As a queer and neurodivergent therapist, Sarah Jayne prioritizes holding a sacred space for folks to process the ways in which external systems impact their lives and emphasizes the importance of working from a culturally responsive lens. Sarah Jayne values the importance of continuous learning to be able to adapt her therapeutic techniques to meet the unique needs and goals of each individual client.
