About this Webinar:

Many people who have experienced trauma carry deeply entrenched beliefs of shame, self-loathing, defectiveness, self-blame, and unworthiness. Drawing from Drs. Kristen Neff and Christopher Germer’s Mindful Self-Compassion model, this continuing education training will explore the foundational principles of self-compassion in a clinical setting and how to help clients cultivate a kinder orientation to the Self.

Learning Objectives

  1. Recognize key learnings from seminal research on self-compassion and mental health
  2. Define ‘compassion’ and ‘self-compassion’
  3. Identify and describe the three foundational components of self-compassion
