About This Group

Ease into your week with Gentle Monday Night Yoga. This calming class is design to help regulate the nervous system, release stress, and restore emotional balance. Through slow movement, mindful breathing, and supportive postures, you’ll create space for your body and mind to soften, settle, and find ease. We welcome ongoing attendees and those who wish to try out a single class. No experience is required and class is facilitated by an experiential trauma therapist.

About the Facilitator

Carolyn Smith, Therapist in Media, PA: Trauma, Anxiety, Depression, Relationship Work, Addiction, Nutrition and Mental Health, Somatic Therapy

Carolyn Smith is a Licensed Professional Counselor who graduated from Immaculata University with her master’s in clinical Mental Health Counseling. Carolyn is a Nationally Certified Counselor (NCC) and has completed advanced trainings in Eye Movement Desensitization Reprocessing (EMDR), Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction (MBSR), Heal Your Life Teacher (HYL), and earned her 200 Hour Registered Yoga Teacher (RYT) in 2020 with a focus on trauma informed yoga. Certified Trauma Professional (CPT) certificate. Carolyn specializes in working with children (10+), adolescents, adults, and couples.
