Join us for an intensive, year-long journey into the heart of trauma-informed psychodrama. This comprehensive training program offers over 130 hours of education and experiential learning for professionals seeking to advance their skills in psychodrama, sociometry, and group therapy. The training program will focus on utilizing psychodrama to treat all forms of trauma while integrating SAMHSA’s trauma-informed care principles to prevent retraumatization.
5 Workshops | Over 130 CE/Training Hours | Directing Practice | Personal/Professional Growth
with Dr. Scott Giacomucci, DSW, LCSW, BCD, CGP, FAAETS, TEP

After requests from multiple trainees, we have thoughtfully put this program together. Designed for counselors, social workers, psychologists, mental health professionals, addictions counselors, and psychodrama trainees, this training emphasizes ethical practice, safety, and empowerment. Participants will explore the integration of foundational psychodrama theories, research findings, and action methods while developing the tools to facilitate healing through experiential action.
Opportunities
Throughout the program, participants will have multiple opportunities to direct psychodramas (including individual psychodramas and group psychodramas), receive feedback, and develop confidence as trauma-informed group leaders. Participants must have around 50 hours of psychodrama training to be eligible for this training program. If all seats sell out, then this will be a closed ongoing training group for the year. If all seats do not sell out, then remaining tickets will be sold to attendees joining for single workshops.
This program is designed for professionals seeking:

- Certification hours toward SP, CP, PAT, or TEP credentials
- Advanced training in experiential group therapy
- A supportive community of like-minded practitioners
- A deeper understanding of how to apply psychodrama in trauma-focused settings
- Further integration of theory, research, and trauma-informed principles into practice

Credits and Registrations

Workshops have a limited number of registration slots. Therefore, once participants have committed to the workshop, their places are held and no longer open for other people to attend. The decision to host or cancel a workshop is largely based on attendance numbers. Many attendees book flights and travel arrangements for these events which makes it more complicated to cancel workshops due to low registration numbers unless we cancel several months before an event.
Please contact us for any questions or concerns you may have regarding a workshop or attending one.
