Sandy Doria  CET I  (she/her/hers) is a graduate student in Counseling and Drama Therapy at Lesley University. Sandy’s therapeutic approach focuses on harnessing our strengths for healing, identity exploration, and empowerment. She values collaboration and recognizes the importance of co-creating a space where one can express themselves authentically to be seen and understood.

She brings creativity into the therapeutic process and invites many forms of communication, including verbal or non-verbal and symbolic or literal expression. In addition to drama therapy and creative arts, Sandy also integrates EMDR and psychodrama into her work.

“Everyone processes trauma differently. For some, it can be difficult to talk directly about these experiences. When we are creative, there are endless ways to face challenges and work through what we’re up against. We will move at your pace, working with difficult feelings in unexpected ways. There are no ‘normal’ timelines. We are all on our own journeys, and I am here to support you on yours.”

Sandy has experience working with adults and adolescents, dis/abled folx, and refugees and immigrants through therapeutic theatre, support groups, and emancipatory research.

Sandy’s typical fee is $85 for individual therapy (53 min); she can work on a flexible sliding scale if needed.
