This workshop will introduce participants to Jungian concepts of ‘shadow’ and ‘archetype’ as they relate to psychotherapy and personal growth. J.L. Moreno’s role theory will be presented and integrated with the Jungian concept of archetypes. Using sociometric, sociodramatic, and psychodramatic techniques, the group will explore its relationships to various archetypes and their utility in clinical work.
Participants will also be offered the opportunity and choice to explore aspects of their own shadow (positive and negative) and their own integration of archetypes in their professional roles.
