About the group:

The purpose of this counseling group is to bring together women who wish to address: relational trauma, emotional pain, self-medicating behaviors, and feelings of disconnect, unworthiness, and self-blame that often are by-products of trauma. We will spend our time together constructing a special space in which to explore relationship with Self and others. In doing so, we will discover and develop an appreciation for the protective parts of you, identify and tap into strengths, and explore your sense of purpose through interpersonal and experiential group therapy techniques. This group will emphasize the discovery of self-compassion as you learn about your internal system and inspire motivation for positive change that is often born in the wake of significant trauma.

This is a closed 8-week group for women who have a history of trauma and numbing behaviors.
